This concentrated 3 Day program begins with our downtown highlight City Tour, and is followed by our Meeting of the Waters – Tour 3 on the first day, with a sleep over in Manaus (included). We leave the next morning for a 2 Day/1Night Waterfall & Cavern (1^st day) + Canoeing the Urubu River (2^nd day) expedition. Like all our tours, our multiple day programs can also be customized to include stops that address your own specific interests. This 3 days package, as most of our packages, were designed to provide you with the opportunity to experience two grand ecosystems of the Amazon, the flooded forest ecosystem and the firm land ecosystem.

The Meeting of the Waters - Tour 3, will take you to the flooded forest ecosystem rich in rubber trees, palm trees and the emblematic giant water lily pad, known as the Vitoria Regia. The waters of this ecosystem are rich in nutrients and provide the base element for abundant fauna, and better chances of viewing wildlife such as dolphins, piranhas, caimans, monkeys, birds and sloths.

With our Waterfall & Cavern day trip followed by our Canoeing the Urubu River, you will have the chance to experience the firm land ecosystem with hundreds of plant species and trees up to 60 meters high (200 feet). In this ecosystem, the intertwined canopy can totally block the passage of light in some areas, making it feel humid and obscure yet, amazingly beautiful.

* For your overnight in Presidente Figueiredo, you can choose between :

The comfortable Cuca Legal Hotel: Located in the little town of Presidente Figueiredo, this hotel option offers you comfort with a/c, hot water and small but nice rooms. In the evening, you can have a little stroll in town where you can go for dinner, ice cream, beer, etc. in the local park. Enjoy the small town and local life without a tourist type atmosphere.
The adventurous Camping experience (extra): If you literally want to have mother nature at your finger tips, this is the option for you. You’ll sleep by the river’s edge, in a beaten ground area with trees. You’ll sleep in a stretch hammock tied to trees, covered by a mosquito net and a big tarp on top in case it rains. It’s a little rustic, but works well and will leave you reminiscing about your authentic Amazon experience! J
